Is it any more silly than rooting for someone for a reason totally out of your control, such as where you were born?
Anyway, my dad, my sisters, and I are going to Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals (basketball) tonight to see the Denver Nuggets tie the series at 2-2 against the Los Angeles Kobe Bryants.
It’s gonna be a blast.

Addendum: I am a fair weather fan of certain sports, not certain teams. I’ll always root for Denver or Colorado. Right now, I am a basketball fan supporting the Nuggets. Two years ago, when the Rockies made it to the playoffs, I was a baseball fan. I will always be a Denver supporter. So I guess I’m pretty silly in all respects when it comes to sports fandom.
Just a little mumble, grumble before bed.
I’m going to the doctor tomorrow by what I would consider a “rare choice” on my own part. I kept almost falling, and then I did fall down the stairs, and that’s been going on for a while (the pattern, not the tumbling). It’s getting more frequent, and there’s a weird sensation that all the ambient sounds in the room are decreasing to very low volumes as I start to stagger.
Meanwhile, many of my cousins are leaving this weekend. Adam, Amy, & Noa Belle are moving to Las Vegas, Jeff is moving to Germany to be an au pair, Kerri’s going to live in France for a year. These are people I’ve really had looking out for me for the last year, people I’ve had giving me a bigger net are now taking some of that net away. And for many, many speculated reasons… I don’t feel like I can leave yet.

Trek on!
I believe Star Trek to be a great movie for people who have never seen or cared about Star Trek to hardcore Trek nerds. And everyone in between. A mere five minutes into the film, my dad and I were whispering back and forth that we have to see it again soon! Highly recommended!
Mustard on a burger?
I was saddened to read on the HP today that “Obama Mustard Attack Becomes Full-Blown Right-Wing Talking Point” because that’s the only condiment I really like on my cheeseburgers, too! I stand with you in solidarity during this time of attacks on our condiments, Mr. President!
Season Finales
Dollhouse: Good ending. Significant things happened.
Heroes: Uhm, I don’t know. I’m going to keep watching it out of pure addiction, but… still… Very little significant happened. I see the element of plot vs. no plot being of major consequence.
To Twit or Not To Twit
Eh, probably not, at least not for now. We shall see. I’m moving back to the Carlos and Amy standpoint here. “Got dressed, took a shower, took off clothes, switched for dry ones,” it’s all pretty boring stuff. I think that might have been a butchered Dave Burdick joke there. So I’ll just add, “Added mustard to Kelug’s Super K Dried Breakfast Consumables” for good effect.
